Allison's Christmas 2001 Heartland Tour
Allison's Route Overview
Although she was virtually guaranteed a white Christmas at home in Colorado,
Allison elected to travel overland to Southaven, Mississippi to spend the
holidays with her grandparents and the spirit of Elvis for a real Blue Christmas.
Allison departed Colorado and traveled south through
New Mexico,
Texas,
Oklahoma and
Arkansas, covering 1,211
miles. The return took her through
Kentucky, Indiana,
Illinois,
Missouri (four states in
one day) and
Kansas, and covered 1,416
miles.
Allison enjoyed a wonderful
Christmas Eve dinner and
Christmas morning at her grandparent's house. While in town, Allison
stopped by Graceland
and also took a day trip to Tupelo,
birthplace of the King.

Allison took the time to visit Elvis Presley's birthplace in Tupelo,
Mississippi. A stop on the way included Holly Springs, MS.
